Local Exhaust Ventilation (LEV) system is a workplace engineering control system that help to extract airborne chemical hazardous to health out of workplace environment. The effectiveness and efficiency of this ventilation system is critical prevent working personnel expose to hazardous chemical during working.

Local Exhaust Ventilation (LEV) system Inspection, Testing and Examination need to be carried at interval of not more than 12 months. Employer need to appoint Hygiene Technician II registered with Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH) to perform LEV testing and examination in order to comply with Occupational Safety and Health (Use and Standards of Exposure of Chemicals Hazardous to Health) Regulation 2000.

TecnicAire Service perform through inspection of the system and highly capable in solving any issue relating to ventilation system. TecnicAire Services offers comprehensive Local Exhaust Ventilation (LEV) testing for;

• Hood face velocity
• Hood and duct static pressure
• Duct velocity pressure and transport velocity
• Air cleaner’s efficiency
• Fan’s capacity and efficiency.

All Local Exhaust Ventilation (LEV) testing is performed in accordance and compliant with:
➢ Guidelines on Occupational Safety and Health for Design, Inspection, Testing and Examination of Local Exhaust Ventilation System, 2008, Department of Occupational Health and Safety Malaysia.
➢ Occupational Safety and Health, (Use and Standard of Exposure of Chemicals Hazardous to Health) Regulations 2000
➢ Industrial Ventilation: A Manual of Recommended Practice 23rd Edition ,American Conference of Government Industrial Hygienist (ACGIH) 1998
